Joe Mason

Services for Joe A. Mason, 92, of Cleburne, formerly of Tomball, Tex., will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Monday, July 25, 2011 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Mr. Kevin Rhoades will officiate. Burial will be in the Cleburne Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be be from 2-4 P.M., Sunday, at the funeral home.
Mr. Mason passed away Friday, July 22, 2011 in Cleburne. He was born May 29, 1919 in Cleburne to Joe L. and Daisy Bonner Mason. He married Juanita Faye Mitchell on July 6, 1942 in Cleburne. He was an electrician and a crain operator in the Cleburne shops for more than 30 years for the Santa Fe Railroad. Mr. Mason was a member of the Granbury Street Church of Christ and a vereran of the U.S. Army.
Mr. Mason is survived by his wife, Juanita Mason of Cleburne; son in law, Sandy Tomlinson and wife Wanda of Tomball; grandchildren, Leigh Ann Darilek and husband William, Sandra Gayle McDaniel and husband Karmen; great grandchildren, Cody, Corbin and Courtney Darilek, Katelyn and Brooke McDaniel; brother, Bruce B. Mason and wife Jacklyn and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Charlotte Ann Tomlinson, sons, Kenneth Mason, Wayne Mason, a granddaughter, Cynthia Denice Tomlinson, brothers, Emmett Lee Mason and Howard C. Mason and a sister, Francis Swanson.

Memorial may be made to the Granbury Street Church of Christ Building Fund.
