Cleburne TX- Joe (Mike) Kilpatrick Born December 10th, 1948
Mike (Spud) Kilpatrick would like to announce to his Family and Friends that his work here is done. He received an invitation on May 15th, 2018 that he could not refuse. The Good Lord has called his name to come home. He has been called to set up His Family Home. He left behind his legacy with the Cleburne Fire Department which enjoyed the company of his brothers, throughout his 31 years of service. His family at the CFD was very important to him. He enjoyed Texas Rangers baseball to which he was a loyal fan, the Dallas Cowboys and Dirk Nowitzki. He enjoyed his time umpiring for girls fast pitch for many years. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Cleburne where he found his path to the Lord through the words of Brother Charles Payne.
He reluctantly left behind his wife Dana and children Daughter Becky Roberson and husband Wesley, Son David Kilpatrick, Son Chris Robinett and wife Sharon and his youngest Daughter Letisha Robinett and Jack Smith, which he considered a son. He had nine Grandchildren and a Great Grandchild to whom he made a tremendous impact. His sister Molly Henley and husband William along with his nieces and nephews. His love for family was unmatched. He has gone to be reunited with his parents Reece and Dovie Kilpatrick and his sister in law Tammy Harris.
A celebration of life will be held at Crosier Pearson in Cleburne on Sunday May 20th, 2018 at 1:00pm.
This will be followed by a gathering of family and friends. We ask that all his family and friends come and share in the many ways he has created a light in your life.
