Joe Pinkerton

Service for Joe L. Pinkerton, 87, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Friday, October 3, 2014 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Mr. Kevin Rhodes, David Capps and Jeremy Hargrove will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 P.M. Pallbearers will be Jeremy Hargrove, David Capps, William Capps, Jackie Pinkerton, Terry Hargrove, Justin Pinkerton and Austin Pinkerton.
Joe L. Pinkerton passed away Monday, September 29, 2014 in Fort Worth. He was born January 23, 1927 in Itasca to Luther Lafayette and Ila Jean Sanderson Pinkerton. He married Loudyne Waldie on January 11, 1948 in Glen Rose.
Mr. Pinkerton served in the US Army during World War II. He was an engineer for Lockheed Martin retiring after 41 years of service. He was a member of Granbury Street Church of Christ, Cleburne.
Joe Pinkerton is survived by his wife of 66 years, Dyne Pinkerton of Cleburne; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, J.T. Pinkerton, John Earl Pinkerton and Luther Pinkerton and sisters, Ila Mae Channon and Mary Lee Hemby.
