Joel Branham

Services for Joel Branham, 68, of Rio Vista, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, August 29, 2023, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel with Reverend Jonathan Henton officiating. Interment to follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 4:00-6:00 P.M., Sunday, August 27, 2023 at the funeral home.

Joel passed away Wednesday, August 23, 2023 in Rio Vista. He was born November 10, 1954 in Columbia, South Carolina to Jack and Suzanne (Davis) Branham. Joel married Rose Marie Lee on November 9, 1979 in Cleburne. He had a strong faith and was a member of New Life Baptist Church in Covington. Joel worked for ACT in Joshua for over 25 years as a Sheet Metal Fabricator. He was a family man with a giving nature. Joel was a patriotic man who served his country in the United States Army. He was quite the character with his jokester personality, making him the center of everything. Joel spent countless hours working on his jeeps, keeping Amazon busy ordering parts. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Rose Marie Branham; sons and their spouses, Cary Snider, Bates Branham and Julie, and Rowdy Branham; 12 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; siblings, Geary Branham, Vicki Branham, Keith Branham, and Clint Branham; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Joel is preceded in death by his parents; son, Randy Branham; and nephew, Welborn Branham.
