John Arthur Bush

Service for John Arthur Bush, 38, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:30 A.M., Thursday, December 7, 2017 in the Greater Mt. Zion Baptist Church. The Reverend James Horton will officiate. The Reverend Donald J. Earl will be Eulogist. Pallbearers will be Deacon James Thompson, Deacon Ronnie Fuller, Deacon Donnie Mitchell, Chris Middleton, Alvin Bush, and Geoffrey Williams. Committal will be at 3:00 P.M., Thursday, in Elm Mott Cemetery in Waco. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
John Arthur Bush passed away on Monday, Nov. 27, 2017 in Dallas. He was born August 16, 1979 in Marshall to John Wayne and Eleanor Thomas Bush.
Mr. Bush served in the United States Army and was self-employed in home remodeling. He was the drummer and a member of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church.
Survivors include his parents, John Wayne and Eleanor Bush of Cleburne; brother, Christopher C. Andry of Cleburne; sister, Ashley N. Gibson of Dallas; stepdaughter, Shakya West; nephew, Brian D. Gibson of Cleburne; paternal grandfather, Noah John Bush of Waco; aunts, Gwendolyn Maxwell, Carolyn Williams, Sarah Bush, and Andrea Bush. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Lena M. and Dan Thomas and paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Bush.
