John Beckham

John William Beckham passed away Thursday, March 17, 2005 in Cleburne. He was born November 21, 1915 in Johnson County, Texas to Ed and Lily Joslin Beckham. He married Jessie Ilene Newton on August 7, 1937 in Cleburne.
Mr. Beckham was a retired mechanic. He was in the automobile repair business and owned Beckham Garage. He was a veteran of the US Army Air Corps and a member of Westside Church of Christ.
John William Beckham is survived by his daughter, Kathy Boles of Cleburne; four nieces, Sandi Blann of Cleburne, Anita Gibson of Cleburne, Jean McWilliams of Topeka, Kansas and Karen Stephens of Cleburne; three nephews, Don Temple and wife Sandy of Atlanta, Georgia, Michael Temple and Betty Buckley of Olympia, Washington and Jerry McWilliams of Ft. Worth. He was preceded in death by his wife of 67 years Jessie Ilene Beckhah; great nephew, Bryan Blann; sister, Florene Horn; son-in-law, Jim Boles.
