John E. Womack

Service for John Womack, 89, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 27, 2016 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Mr. Billy Adcox will officiate.
Burial will be at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, Dec. 29, 2016 in Fairlawn Cemetery in Chickasha, Okla.
Honorary pallbearers will be David Wright, Brian Schoessow, Matthew Duty, Gideon Turner, B.J. Mayhall, Justin Duty, Paul Flurry, Albert Garrett, James Turner, Rocky Moore, Lucas Turner, Joshua Flurry, Haden Wright, Aaron Crawford, Michael Crawford, Shea Crawford, Paul Flurry, Jr., Sidney Parnell, Marcus Garrett and Kevin Pearlman. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M. Monday, Dec. 26, 2016 at the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home.
John Womack passed away Thursday, Dec. 22, 2016 in Ft. Worth. He was born Nov. 22, 1927 in Campo, CO. He married Jelema Juanita Rogers in 1993 in Chickasha, Okla. He served in the United States Army and was a steel worker at Kaiser Steel Company until retiring. John was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great and great-great grandfather, uncle, brother, and a friend to many. He loved the Lord deeply and was of the Church of Christ faith.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Jelema Womack of Cleburne; sons, Ron Womack and Wally Womack and wife Juanita; daughters, Sharon Wright and husband J.D., Linda Womack and Patricia Duty and husband Stephen; 21 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; brother, Charles Womack and wife Pam; and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him greatly. He was preceded in death by his parents.
