John Hewitt

Funeral services for John Emory Hewitt, Jr. of Cleburne will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, December 5, 2005, at Crosier-Pearson-Cleburne Funeral Home Chapel, 414 N. Main St. with Dr. Joe Stephens officiating.

Visitation will be held from 12 Noon to 2:00 PM, Monday.

John Emory Hewett, Jr. an auto parts salesman, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2005. He was born April 6, 1938, in New Cumberland, Pennsylvania, the son of John E. and Elinor (Wallower) Hewitt, Sr. He was a big fan of auto racing. He loved his ranch, his horses, the Texas Sunsets and the Lone Star nighttime sky.

He is survived by his wife, Ruthanna Weber Hewitt, of Cleburne; daughter, Lauri Hewitt and husband, Coty Cooper; sons, Alan Hewitt and wife Diane, of Pennsylvania and Carl Hewitt, of Cleburne; and granddaughter, Amber Hewitt, of Pennsylvania.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to "The Victory Junction Gang Camp", 4500 Adam's Way, Randleman, North Carolina, 27317.
