A visitation for John Robert Lippoldt, 67, of Cleburne will be conducted from 6-8:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Friday March 11, 2016 at the First Baptist Church in El Reno, OK. Burial will follow in El Reno Cemetery.
John Robert “Johnny” Lippold passed away Sunday, Mar. 6, 2016 in Ft. Worth. He was born July 24, 1948 in Okarche, OK to Raymond Charles and Alice Elizabeth McFarland Lippoldt. He married Flora Crawford Ables on Oct. 8, 1988 in Cleburne.
Johnny served in the United States Army and worked as a heavy equipment operator for Blattner, retiring with 26 years of service. He was a member of the VFW and a lifetime member of American Legion Post No. 50 in Cleburne. He was of the Catholic faith.
Survivors include his wife, Flora Lippoldt of Cleburne; son, Billy Lippoldt and wife Judy of El Reno, OK; daughter, Lisa Jones and husband Curtis of El Reno, OK; grandsons, Brady Lippoldt, Logan and Lathan Ontiveros; great granddaughter, Alivia Ontiveros; sisters, Alice Miller of Norman, OK, Pat Eden of El Reno, OK, Mary Kate Hicks of El Reno, OK, and Lynn Zucksworth of El Reno, OK; brothers, Charles Lippoldt of Bishop, CA, Denny Lippoldt of Moore, OK, David Lippoldt of Kingwood, TX and Billy Lippoldt of Piedmont, OK; stepchildren, LaDonna and Nathan Young, Don Ables, and Terry and Wayla Ables; step grandchildren, Kris and Dwayne Hurst, Kyla Dinwiddie and husband Jason, Teddy and Gale Young, Christy Young, Cynthia and John Burnette, Donita and Chris Welch, John and Jesse Ables and Tyler and Brittany Ables; step great grandchildren, Jack and Aiden Dinwiddie, Mattie And Ava Welch, Brittany Young, and Hayden and Johnathon Burnette; step great-great grandchild, Adalin Jones; and a host of other relatives and friends.
