John Mackey

Service for John Wayne Mackey, 70, of Cleburne will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Monday, Mar. 21, 2011 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Scott Whitson will officiate. Burial will be in the Bono Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-6:00 P.M., Sunday, at the funeral home.
Mr. Mackey passed away Friday, Mar. 18, 2011 in Ft. Worth. He was born Aug. 19, 1940 in Johnson County, to J.B. and Mozell Henson Mackey. He married Bonnie Colleen Heady on Mar. 19, 1965 in Aledo. Mr. Mackey retired from the Miller Brewing Company and was of the Baptist faith. He was also a volunteer fireman for the Liberty Chapel Fire Department.
Mr. Mackey is survived by his wife, Bonnie Mackey of Cleburne; daughter, Jana Kratz and husband Gene of Cleburne; son, Wesley Mackey and wife Catherine of Cleburne; brother, Billy Nolan Mackey and wife Susie of Cleburne; five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
