John Marino

Service for John Marino, 60, of Rio Vista will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Louis Marino will officiate. Burial will be in Rio Vista Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Wednesday, at the funeral home.

John Marino passed away Sunday, November 13, 2016 in Rio Vista. He was born June 30, 1956 in Potsdam, NY to Louis Anthony and Yolanda Dikes Marino. He married Teresa Kay Israel in 1986 in Cleburne.

Mr. Marino was a master mechanic and a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and a friend to many. He will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his beloved wife of 30 years, Teresa Marino of Rio Vista; children, Jason Dunlap and wife Kimberly of Godley, Karen Bales of Cleburne, Scott Brian of Rio Vista, La Donna Stephens and husband Jimmy of Joshua, and Chyla Podhajsky and husband Paul of Hallettsville; grandchildren, Justin, Desiree, Haylee, Devin, Taylor, Samera, Jewel, Tyler, Kason, Karter, Dakota, Denver, Aidan and Matthew; one great grandchild; siblings, Michael Marino and wife Ilva of Virginia Beach, VA, Theresa Young and husband Mike of Cleburne, Clara Ratliff of Keene, Anthony Marino and wife Vicky of Venus, Lana Holt and husband Bobby, Louis Marino and wife Tonnie and Annie and husband Mike Yale, all of Rio Vista. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, George Marino.
