John Miller

Mr. Miller passed away Thursday, March 8, 2007 in Cleburne. He was born November 2, 1930 in Tom Green County, Texas to John Conrad Sr. and Lena Ann Baker Miller. He married Mamie Jean Cope on January 20, 1951 in San Angelo.

Mr. Miller served in the US Army. He was a sheetmetal worker for the Santa Fe Railroad and retired after 35 years. He had worked for the past six years for Walmart. He was Past Master of the Cleburne Masonic Lodge #315, 32 degree Scottish Rite Mason and received his 50 year pin in 2006. He worked with the Boy Scouts of America for many years and was of the Baptist faith.

John C. Miller, Jr. is survived by his wife Jean Miller of Cleburne, daughters Elizabeth Mooney, Doris Guthrie, and Bonnie Rumsey and husband Phillip all of Cleburne; sister Opal Cope of Dallas, 6 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by parents and a son Johnny Miller in 1987
