John Monschke

Graveside services for John Fleming Monschke, 80, of Ft. Worth, will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, November 10, 2007 in the Roselawn Memorial Park. Reverend Bob Graham will officiate.

John Fleming Monschke passed away Sunday, November 4, 2007 in Ft. Worth. He was born May 16, 1927 in Krum, Texas to Gustav Adolphus and Josephine Pauline Lards Monschke. He married Bennie Ruth Hicks on July 20, 1946 in Denton, TX.

Mr. Monschke was a construction engineer for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. He was a member of Heritage Mason Lodge in Ft. Worth, Telephone Engineer Society, Board of Osceola Water Co-op, Telephone Pioneers Civic Organizations and Field Street Baptist Church.

John F. Monschke is survived by his daughters, Beverly Burchfield and husband Kenneth of Ft. Worth and Patricia Monschke of Burleson; son, John Monschke, Jr. and wife Belinda of Covington; grandchildren, Nicole Burchfield, Amber Burchfield, Raymond Cate, Lesley Cate and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bennie, March 1999.
