A graveside service for John Paul Livingston, 84, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Monday, April 10, 2017 at Rosehill Cemetery. The Reverend Charles Payne and Reverend Brooks Monk will officiate. Visitation will be held 2:00 P.M. -3:00 P.M. prior to service, at the cemetery.
John Paul Livingston passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017 in Cleburne. He was born October 12, 1932 in Kemp to Roscoe L. and Ida Leah (Yates) Livingston. He married Constance Kay Basham on February 16, 1984 in Cleburne.
John Paul was a painter for Santa Fe Railroad and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was an active Mason for over 30 years. He enjoyed the Texas Rangers, UT Longhorns football and gardening.
John is survived by his wife, Kay Livingston; children, Paula Hudson and Dee Bubp and husband Michael all of Cleburne; grandchildren, Rose Lia Hilbig and husband James, Lori Hudson, Ethan Anderson and fiancée Secret, Tristan Bubp, Ashlee Bubp and Michael Bubp and wife Aubrie; great-grandchildren, Tristan Hilbig, Avery Hilbig, McKenna Frost, Aedyn Frost, Evelyn Bubp, Kyran Anderson, Kaelan Anderson, Harrison Hilbig and Hudson Paul Hilbig; brother, James Yates Livingston and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by parents; first wife, Margaret Ann Livingston; son, Tollie Livingston; daughter, Linda Lu Livingston; two brothers and four sisters. He was a wonderful father, grandfather and great-grandfather and will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved him.
