Service for John Earl Pinkerton, 84, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, June 17, 2014 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Dr. John Hall will officiate. Burial will be at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Fort Worth. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Monday, at the funeral home.
John Earl Pinkerton passed away Friday, June 13, 2014 in Ft. Worth. He was born May 2, 1930 in Itasca to Luther Layafette and Ila Jean Sanderson Pinkerton. He married Janette Davis on September 27, 1947.
Mr. Pinkerton was an electrician and a member of Field Street Baptist Church. His love for his family and friends will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his daughters, Sharon Kay Capps and husband David, and Donna Roe and husband Terry; son, Jackie Pinkerton and wife Linda; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph Lewis Pinkerton and wife Dyne; sister-in-law, Billie Pinkerton; numerous nieces and nephews and wonderful friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Janette Pinkerton; daughter, Pamela Pinkerton; and brother, Luther Pinkerton.
