Johnnel Loeak

Johnnel Loeak, a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend, passed away on January 9, 2025, in Fort Worth. He was born on November 17, 1969, in Jabor, Marshall Islands.

Johnnel was known for his great sense of humor, bringing joy to those around him with his quick wit and infectious laughter. An avid creator and builder, Johnnel took great pleasure in crafting projects that showcased his talents and imagination.

As a loving father and husband, Johnnel placed his family at the center of his life. He is survived by his devoted wife, Jokbet Loeak: daughters Lina, Desina and Sarah; sons Antonio and Luciano. Each family gathering was a celebration fueled by Johnnel's love, highlighted by his skills as a great cook and barbecue expert.

Johnnel is also survived by his brothers: Linus Loeak, Fred Loeak, Vincent Loeak, Ronney Loeak, Charles Loeak, and Justin Loeak; and sisters: Catherine Gushikuma, Mary Jonaie, Linda Peter, and Florina Hisaiah. His strong familial bonds and enduring love for his siblings were hallmarks of his life.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elbi and Alimina Loeak; and sisters Irene Jikit, Angela, Babauta, and Grace Alik. Johnnel leaves behind a legacy of laughter, creativity, and love that will endure in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Graveside service will be 2:00 P.M., Friday, January 24, 2025 in Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne. Visitation will be 1:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, January 23, 2025 at Marshallese First Assembly of God 1009 Trinity Street, Cleburne, Texas 76031.
