Johnnie Lawson

Services for Johnnie V. Lawson, 92, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, April 8, 2008 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Charles E. Payne will officiate. Burial will be in the Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Terry Humphrey, Charles Lawson, Tony Raimo, John Thompson, Raymond Lawson and David Hoschar.
Mrs. Lawson passed away Sunday, April 6, 2008 in Cleburne. She was born May 11, 1915 in Cone, Tex. to J.D. and Verna Cheyne Smith. She married Willie R. Lawson on Jan. 4, 1941 in El Paso. Mrs. Lawson was a homemaker and a member of the Clavary Baptist Church.
Mrs. Lawson is survived by son, Raymond Lee Lawson and wife Charlotte of Cleburne; daughter, Roberta Bell and husband Joel of Cleburne; brother, Royce Smith of Duncan, Okl.; nine grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; son, Robert Lawson; great granddaughter; three brothers and four sisters.
Visitation will be from 6:00 - 7:30 P.M., Monday at the funeral home.
