Service for Johnnie Mae White Ledbetter, 95, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Friday, March 16, 2012 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Charles E. Payne will officiate assisted by Dr. Robert H. Herzig. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 P.M. Thursday.

Mrs. Ledbetter passed away Monday, March 12, 2012 in Cleburne. She was born on April 2, 1916 in Johnson County to John C. Calhoun and Matilda Mae Graham Stephens. She married James Ray Ledbetter on Nov. 27, 1980 in Cleburne.

Mrs. Ledbetter was a 1934 graduate of CHS and owned operated Bo-Peep Nursery and Kindergarten from 1961-1975. Mr. and Mrs. Ledbetter were in the Lake Pat Sam R.V. Club. As a senior citizen she was very active and in 1979 she was Sr. Citizen of the Year. Johnnie's love of music, piano, fiddle, harmonica and singing kept her young at heart. Johnnie and Ray played with several groups. He played the guitar while she played the piano. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Ruth Chapter No. 20 and the First United Methodist Church in Cleburne.

Survivors include her husband, Ray Ledbetter of Cleburne; daughters, Patsy Ramsey and husband Don of Stephenville and Paula Innis and husband Larry of Ft. Worth; six grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; sister, Clifford Coleman of Keene; a number of nieces and nephews, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Alvin William White on March 21, 1972; son, Gary L. White on Nov. 25, 1972; one brother and two sisters.
