Johnnie Millsap

Graveside service for Johnnie Basye Millsap, 86, of Covington will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Monday, Dec. 5, 2011 in Covington Cemetery. Pastor John Young will officiate. Visitation will be from 4-6 P.M., Sunday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Millsap passed away Wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011 in Covington. She was born May 16, 1925 in Hill County to Claude and Mae Ward Bayse.

Mrs. Millsap was a homemaker and was of the Christian faith.

Survivors include her son, Roland Millsap and wife Melinda of Covington; grandchildren, Christopher Millsap, Leslie Shane Millsap, Collin Millsap and wife Dawn, Brady Millsap and wife Tara and Tony and Ryan Whisenant; 11 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Millsap; two sons, Jerry Don and Patrick Earl, five sisters and one brother.
