Johnnie Strange

Service for Johnnie Burgess Strange, 91, of Cleburne will be conducted at 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 18, 2012 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Larry York will officiate. Pallbearers will be Chris Wells, Jack Merrill, Anthony Wells, Dakota Wells, Mark Day and Ronald Walker. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-7:30 P.M., Tuesday, at the funeral home.

Mrs. Strange passed away Sunday, July 15, 2012 in Cleburne. She was born July 24, 1920 in Johnson County to John William and Mollie Noles Burgess. She married Raymon Strange on October 28, 1939 in Ft. Worth.

Mrs. Strange was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include four daughters, Anita Black of Houston, Deanna Grover and husband Dale of Carrollton, Brenda Wells and husband Charles of Cleburne and Janice Bridges and husband Glenn of Dallas; seven grandchildren, Billy, Deborah, Cindy, Jill, Chris, Tyson and Jack; 11 great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Raymon Strange in 2000; and numerous brothers and sisters.
