Johnnie Jean Taylor, 81, of Cleburne passed away Wednesday, June 17, 2015 in Cleburne. She was born May 29, 1934 in Aransas Pass to John and Nellie Winslett Gooding. She married Pastor Carroll Vester Taylor in 1953 in Austin.
Mrs. Taylor was a homemaker and a loving wife. She was of the Fundamental Baptist faith. She will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her daughter, Sharen Griffin and husband Tom; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; siblings, Bill Gooding and Kay Williams; three grand daughters-in-law, Ashley, Brandye, and Sarah; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Carroll; son, Randy Taylor; grandson, Gabriel Taylor; and several siblings.
Private graveside services will be held on Friday, June 19, 2015.
