Johnnie Vermillion

Services for Johnnie R. Vermillion, 76, of Cleburne, will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 P.M. in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery.
Mr. Vermillion passed away Friday, October 29, 2010 in Cleburne. He was born September 16, 1934 in McKinney to Johnnie Vermillion and Susan Dalton Vermillion. He married Barbara Jo Rich on November 10, 1952 in Dallas.

Johnnie served in the U.S Army and was a retired switchman for the Santa Fe Railroad. He was of the Church of Christ faith.

Johnnie is survived by his two sons, Barry W. Vermillion and wife, Kathy of Denton and Robert Lee Vermillion of Dallas; daughter, Patricia Ann Dagley and husband, Robert of Cleburne; two brothers, Joe Vermillion and wife, Mary and Cecil Vermillion and wife, Joyce all of Weatherford; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great- grandchild and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Jo Vermillion on January 13, 2008; parents; two sisters and one brother.
