Johnny Avrett

Services for Johnny Levi Avrett, 73, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 3, 2008, in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Pastor Dominic Valero will officate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Williams, Darrell Ratliff, Steven Flowers, Pete Black, Michael Lain and Brock Gossett.

Johnny Avrett passed away on Tuesday, October 28, 2008 in Waco. He was born January 17, 1935 in Dallas, TX to Monroe And Hannie Dicie Davis Avrett. He married Dorothy June Norton on November 14, 1953 in Irving, TX.

Mr. Avrett was a bonder for Bell Helicopter for 271/2 years. He attended the Open Heart Ministries and was a member of the Masonic Lodge #438 in Arlington.

Johnny Levi Avrett is survived his wife, Dorothy Avrett of Cleburne; three daughters, Debra West and husband, John of West Milbourne, FL, Donna Rogers and husband, Terry of Kopperl and Dana Williams; nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Floyd F. Avrett and one sister, Evelyn V. Avrett.
