Johnny Hasty

Graveside services for Johnny Dearl “J.D.” Hasty, 77, of Cleburne, will be conducted Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. in the Baker-Lain Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Friday at the funeral home.

J.D. Hasty passed away Sunday, February 16, 2020 in Cleburne. He was born February 8, 1943 in Meridian, Texas to Arthur and Hattie Mae (Billings) Hasty. He married Sharon Lucille Cherry on July 5, 1963 in Glen Rose. He was a truck driver.

Mr. Hasty loved his family and worked hard to take care of them. He enjoyed fishing and hunting and squirrel and bird watching were some of his favorite pastimes.

Survivors include his wife, Sharon Hasty; sons, Gene Ray Pack and Jon Dearl Hasty; grandchildren, Ariel Gillispie, Allison Hasty, Johnathan Hasty, Aaron Hasty, Kimberly Upton, Jody Moore, Robin Pack-Oliver, Kasey Pack and Amber Jones; 18 great-grandchildren; brother, Ronnie Hasty and wife Diane; sister, Barbara Rhome and husband Carl, Gail Gibbs, and Judy Simms; as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his son, Daniel Lee Hasty; parents, Arthur and Hattie Mae Hasty; and brother, Donnie Hasty.
