Service for Johnny Moore, 52, of Blum will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015 in the First Baptist Church of Rio Vista. The Reverend Terry Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Prairie Valley Cemetery in Hill County. Pallbearers will be Ronnie Allen, Fenton Blackman, Ricky Jean, Randy Moss, Brad Rowe, and Mark Scott. Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Bellenger, Frenchy Shea, Roger Paschal, Donne Lail, Darrell Moore, Kurt Goodman, Jack Williams, Darryl Youngblood, Robert Ferguson, and Jimmy Ferguson. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
Johnny Moore passed away Thursday, Dec. 24, 2015 in Friendswood. He was born Oct. 13, 1963 in Ft. Worth to J. C. Moore and Janice Winnett. He married Evelyn Moore on Sept. 13, 1985 in Hill County.
Mr. Moore worked as a construction superintendent. He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle, nephew, and a friend to many. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Evelyn Moore of Blum; son, Colin Rowe of Blum; mom, Opal Winnett of Cleburne; brothers, Billy Crawford of Ft. Worth and Bill Moore of Cleburne; uncle, Danny Moore and wife Margie; aunts, Glenda Townley and husband Jerry of Cleburne, Kathy Stevens of Rio Vista, Jean Moss of Cleburne, and Shirley McClure and husband Don of Graham; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandfathers, Horace Winnett and Leonard Moore; grandmother, Tiency Winnett; and grandparents, Louise and Fagon Keeton.
