Services for Johnny C. Powell, 61, of Marlin, formerly of Joshua, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 8, 2008 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will be in Greenacres Memorial Park
.Johnny C. Powell passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2008 in Marlin. He was born September 8, 1946 in Greenville, TX to Lowell Felton and Nelda Loyce Carlan Powell.
Mr. Powell served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was of the Baptist faith.
Johnny C. Powell is survived by his mother, Nelda Clark of Joshua; son, John R. Powell; brothers, Jimmy Powell of Burleson, Dusty J. Clark of Crowley and Patrick W. Clark of Joshua. He was preceded in death by his father, Lowell Powell on July 9, 1970.
