Services for Joyce Blankenship, 64, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 15, 2007 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Rev. Bob Beeman will officiate. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Joyce Blankenship passed away Sunday, March 11, 2007 in Carrollton, Texas. She was born July 5, 1942 in Kankakee, Illinois to Donn and Charlotte Smith Kane.

Mrs. Blankenship specialized in therapeutic care of foster children and was of the Methodist faith.

Joyce Blankenship is survived by her son, Wayne Blankenship of Cleburne; daughters, Sheila Eason of Clarendon, TX, Connie Puraleski of Carrollton, TX and Christine Marshall of Manteno, Illinois; brother, Larry Kane and wife Donna of Alvarado, TX; 7 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Wayne in 1998 and brother, Marlin Kane.
