Joyce Curlee

Graveside service for Joyce Curlee, 85, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, July 8, 2021 in Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne. Visitation will be 6-8:00 P.M., Wednesday July 7, 2021 at the funeral home.

Joyce passed away July 5, 2021 in Cleburne. She was born December 5, 1935 in Louisiana to Roy and Reva Vail Turner. Joyce married Billy Curlee on December 17, 1962. Billy preceded her in death on March 1, 2016. Joyce was a bookkeeper for Kmart before retiring.

Joyce loved growing irises and taking grandchildren to the iris show. She also loved family trips to Galveston and gardening.

Joyce is survived by her daughters, Brenda Love and husband Stephen of Cleburne, Lori Curlee of Cleburne; brothers, Rex Turner of Alaska, Al Turner of California; sister, Jean Peek of Alvarado; grandchildren, Megan Sisk, Brendan Jackson and wife Amanda, Chelsea Curlee; great-grandchildren, Madilyn, Marley and Makayla.
