Joyce Curtis

Joyce Jeanette Curtis, 77, passed away on Tuesday, September 8, 2009 in Cleburne. She was born to the late, Marion and Mary Conway on November 24, 1931 in Venus. She worked as a waitress at Chafin for over 20 years before retiring. Joyce was family oriented, to say the least. She was always there for her children, no matter what. She was an avid reader, especially of suspense novels. Joyce's loving and kind spirit and sense of humor will be greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jesse Dewitt Curtis; and seven siblings. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Victoria Morford, Rev. Marion Dale Curtis and Bettsy, David Curtis, Chris Curtis, and Melaney Reagor; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
