Service for Joyce Hollen, 79, of Grandview will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, Jan. 11, 2018 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Dr. Tracy Cook will officiate. Burial will be in
Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
Joyce Hollen passed away Monday, Jan. 8, 2018 in Grandview. She was born Sept. 28, 1938 in Crowell to Hubert Weldon and Jewell Byrdie Athey Brooks. She married John Franklin Hollen on Sept. 5, 1957 in Crowell.
Mrs. Hollen was a homemaker. She was a loving wife, mother, grand and great grandmother, sister, and a dear friend to many.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 60 years, John Franklin Hollen; children, Gary Don Hollen of Johnson County, Helen McCommas of Grandview, Rita Crecy and husband Michael of Cleburne, and Julie Turner and husband Jay of Granbury; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; four brothers; two sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Crystal Laningham, and one brother.
