Visitation for Joyce Arlene Davis McCowen, 74, of Rio Vista, will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at Crosier-Pearson Funeral Home.
Joyce McCowen passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019. She was born December 22, 1944 in Cleburne to Woodrow Wilson and Ola Marie (Weeks) Davis.
Ms. McCowen was in retired Customer Service with Southwestern Bell.
Survivors include her children Justin McCowen and wife Michelle, and Lori McCowen and fiancé David Blair; grandchildren Brad Allen and wife Christy, Mikala Adair, Haley McCowen, Ashley McLeod, Ryan White, Justin McCowen and wife Shirley, Ashley Fears and husband Cody; great grandchildren Autumn Estrada, Brayden McLeod, Peyton Velarde, Nathan Allen, Jordan Allen, Blaise Bouknight, Micah Vaughn, Kole Sawyers, Hayden Bouknight, Jayden Fears, Zayden Fears and Hudson McCowen; numerous nieces and nephews; and family friends Odell McCowen and Linda McCowen.
She was preceded by her mother Ola Marie Duckworth, step-father B.L. Duckworth, father W.W. Davis, sisters Caron Davis, Linda Carroll, Rosemary O’Malia, and Patricia Coward.
