Joyce Wiginton

Memorial service for Joyce C. Wiginton, 85, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, March 15, 2014 in the Church of the Holy Comforter. Father Chris Woodall will officiate.

Joyce C. Wiginton passed away Saturday, March 1, 2014 in Cleburne. She was born April 12, 1928 in Grandview to Casto Thurman and Fronia Carmine Young Taylor. She married William Thomas Wiginton on June 30, 1946 in Cleburne.

Mrs. Wiginton was a shoe salesperson. She worked at several stores, including The Boot Store and Doc Holidays before retiring. She was a member of the Church of the Holy Comforter.

Survivors include her daughter, Talana W, Davidson and husband Steve; son, Max T. Wiginton and wife Nan; three grandchildren, Melinda D. Carter, Dereck T. Davidson and Laura W. Longoria; four great grandchildren, Kailey R. Davidson, Ezekiel S. Davidson, Samuel T. Carter, and Isabella C. Longoria; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, William Thomas Wiginton on June 9, 1997.
