J.R. Jones

J.R. Jones, 72, of Grandview passed away Friday, September 11, 2009 in Cleburne. He was born to the late, Rufus and Alice Lancaster Jones on September 27, 1936 in Wilson, Arkansas. J.R. married E. Jinnette Wright on August 9, 1957 in Houston, Texas. He served in the United States Air Force Reserves and was of Christian faith. J.R. was a good ol' boy that loved his family and country. He will be missed greatly by all those that knew and loved him.

Services will be private for the family of Mr. Jones. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Survivors include his wife, Jinnette Jones of Grandview; son, Scott Jones of Arlington; daughters, Lynda Pisano and husband, Pat of Indiana and Caryn Scarbrough and husband, Randy of Grandview; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
