Funeral mass for Juana C. Ramirez, 62, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, September 21, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Father Sergio Rizo will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, with rosary at 7:00 P.M.
Juana C. Ramirez passed away Sunday, Sept. 15, 2013 in Baytown. She was born June 13, 1951 in C.D. Acuna, Coah. Mexico to Feliciano Cerna and Soledad Juarez. She married Martin Ramirez, the love of her life, on August 25, 1967 in Mexico.
Juana was a homemaker in every sense of the word. Her family and grandchildren always came first. She was the glue that held the family together. To say she never met a stranger doesn’t do her justice; she was loved by everyone. It has been said that she never had anything bad to say. Juana loved music and dancing with her husband was a favorite activity. Other activities included shopping, decorating and tending to her plants. Juana was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Her sweet nature and giving spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Juana’s heart of gold and example of how to be a mom will live on in those she left behind.
Survivors include her husband, whom she affectionately called “Mi Rey”, Martin Ramirez; children, Jaime Ramirez and wife Yaneth, Delma Ramirez and Robert Mata and Ruben Ramirez and wife Karen; grandchildren, Jaime Jr., Krystal, Cecilia, Alex, Jon, Mayah, Erika, Raven, Nadia, and McKayla Faith; great grandchildren, Nicholas, Noel and Laylah; siblings, Alfredo Cerna, Valentine Cerna, Soccoro Ramirez and Jesus Cerna; several nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; mother-in-law, Maria Hiloria de Ramirez; father-in-law, Jose Dolores Ramirez and 10 siblings.
