Graveside service for Juanita Fletcher Marler, 93, of Cleburne will be conducted at 3:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 19, 2014 in Grange Hall Cemetery.
Mrs. Marler passed away Monday, March 17, 2014 in Granbury. She was born February 12, 1921 in Alvarado to Floyd and Ova Self Blankenship. She married Thomas Leslie T.L. Fletcher on February 27, 1934 and he preceded her in death in January of 1981. She then married J.W. Marler in August of 1981 and he preceded her in death in 1991.
Mrs. Marler was a beautician and owned and operated a beauty salon. She enjoyed dancing, fishing at the coast with her grandkids, and traveling with her daughter in Texas. She was a member of the Iris Garden Club and was of the Baptist faith. Juanita will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her children, Tommie Juanita Schoppaul, Franklin Floyd Sam Fletcher and Jo Ann Ford; eight grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; sister, Lois Leck; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents; sister, Willie Belle Cummings; brothers, David and Clois Blankenship; and several grandchildren.
