Judith Briscoe

Services for Judith Tutt Briscoe, 83, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday, Dec. 21, 2009 in Bethel Temple. Pastor Mike Mizell assisted by Frank Briscoe will officiate. Burial will be in Greenacres Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Ricky Briscoe, Danny Briscoe, Jacky Dale Briscoe, David Rose, Stacey Mac Donald, Dan Taylor, Roy Gillock and Gary Cooper. Visitation will be Sunday from 3:00 -5:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Judith Tutt Briscoe passed away Thursday, Dec. 17, 2009 in Ft. Worth. She was born Dec. 20, 1925 in Blum to Lewis and Edith Rogers Tutt. She married Marvin D. Briscoe on January 12, 1946 in Cleburne.
Mrs. Briscoe was a retired executive secretary from Rangaire Mfg. Co. She was a member of Bethel Temple Assembly of God. She loved her Lord, her church, her family, friends and her dog "Muffin". She was a special lady who will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
Judith Briscoe is survived by her son, Timothy D. Briscoe and wife, Betty of Joshua; sister Harriet Taylor and husband, Bill of Blum; brothers-in-law, Frank and Jack Briscoe and their families; sister-in-law, Patsy Briscoe and her family and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Marvin D. Briscoe; son, James Harold Briscoe; brother, Billy Tutt and her parents.
The family would like to thank Community Hospice, Emery J. Lilge and all her caregivers for the loving care they provided during her illness.
