Service for Julia Margaret Waldrip, 98, of Ft. Worth will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, July 28, 2015 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will be at Greenacres Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Monday, at the funeral home.
Julia Margaret Waldrip passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015 in Ft. Worth. She was born September 26, 1916 in Cleburne to James Carey and Frances LaVina McKee Cosgrove. She married Samuel Elvin Waldrip on September 26, 1934 in Cleburne and he preceded her in death on April 13, 1995.
Mrs. Waldrip was a homemaker and a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Survivors include her sons, Samuel E. Waldrip of Granbury and Jon Lee Waldrip of Superior, MT; daughters, Betty Eastman and husband Ben of Ft. Worth, Fran Huerta and husband Jesse of Burleson, and Kathy Severance and husband Bob of Grand Prairie; daughter-in-law, Margarita Waldrip; 15 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren; sister, Betty Sue Harlan of Kansas City, MO; brother, Bill Jack Cosgrove of Princeton; numerous nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents; son, David E. Waldrip; and daughter-in-law, Madonna Waldrip.
