Julia Wilkerson

Graveside services for Julia “Virginia” Wilkerson, 96, of Cleburne will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014, at Coahoma Cemetery in Coahoma, Texas. Pastor Bill Blankenship will officiate. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Julia “Virginia” Wilkerson passed away Wednesday, Dec. 17, 2014, in Cleburne. She was born Jan. 22, 1918, in Odessa to Alvin and Mary Reed. She married Olan Wilkerson and he preceded her in death in 1986.

Mrs. Wilkerson was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her granddaughters, Debra Abbott and husband, Wayne, Roma Adkins and husband, Gary, and Carla Holman; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Gladys Brister; and a host of other relatives and friends.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Lenora McFarland; sons, Ralph and Truman Wilkerson; grandson, Gary Wilkerson; and several brothers and sisters.
