"J.W." Jimmy Fagan

A private memorial will be held at a later date for Jimmy “J.W.” Fagan, 78, of Kopperl.

J.W. passed away on Friday, May 5, 2023 in Fort Worth, Texas. He was born to A.L. and Ruby Faye (Bilton) Fagan on February 19, 1945 in Cleburne, Texas. He was of the Christian faith and worked most of his life as a mechanic or paint and body technician in the automobile industry. J.W. was always coming up with something to make you laugh. His fun-loving spirit was evident throughout his life. J.W. enjoyed riding horses, dirt bikes, motorcycles and racing various cars, including his 1953 Chevy and 1970 Camaro, to name a few. Racing was something that he and his son spent countless hours together, especially at the tracks in Kennedale for many years. He was a planner and thinker as well. J.W. will be greatly missed by those who knew him best. He was preceded in death by his parents; and 4 brothers.

Survivors include his son, Jeffrey Fagan; grandchildren, Marissa L. Fagan and Christopher T. Fagan; 3 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
