Karan Ann Lauderdale passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2015 in Ft. Worth. She was born March 24, 1956 in Johnson County to James Kelly and Elvira Heath Lauderdale.
Karan was a homemaker and a member of First Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. She will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her.
Survivors include her son, Marvin De’Anthony Jarmon of Ft. Worth; brother, Melvin Glenn Lauderdale, Sr. and wife Sandra E. of Cleburne; nieces, LeShon L. Chibanda & husband Oliver of Aliso Viejo, CA, Mary F. Duncan of Louisiana, and Le’Andria E. Lauderdale and Derick Miller of Forney; nephew, Melvin G. Lauderdale, Jr. of Cleburne; great niece and nephew, Monique J. Jimmerson and Kameron J. Pickett of Corpus Christi; caregiver for many years, Ora Lee Shipman; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Elvira Lauderdale-Franklin; father, James Kelly “Teet” Lauderdale; sister, Jacquelyn M. Lauderdale; and niece, Chrishell M. Lauderdale.
