Service for Karen Kay Moss Doty, 80, of Keene will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, November 7, 2023 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Mr. Raymond Pruitt will officiate. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne. Visitation will be 9:30-10:00 A.M., Tuesday, November 7, 2023 prior to service. Pallbearers will be Jeff Doty, Andy Gill, Colin Belt, Mark Moore, Milton Williams and Craig McPherson.

Kay passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2023 in Keene. She was born December 30, 1942 to Samuel Jefferson and Belinda (Miller) Moss. She married Sherrill Duane Doty on September 24, 1957 in Glen Rose. Kay was a longtime member of the Blum Church of Christ. She was selfless, giving and kind hearted. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting and flower gardening. Kay will be greatly missed.

Kay is survived by her sons, Tim Doty and wife, Susan, Mike Doty and wife, Lisa; grandchildren, Jeff Doty and wife, Lesandra, Michelle Gill and husband, Andy, Corbyn Doty, and Dylan Doty and wife, Sadie; 6 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Kay is preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Steve Doty; and 5 brothers.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Chisholm Trail Estates staff, especially Nolley, Liz, Talana, Brittany, Lupe and Gloria, as well as to her Alpha Omega Hospice nurses, Crystal and Maegan for not only caring for her but also for truly loving her.
