Services for Karen Lea McKittrick,
47, of Godley will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, February 21, 2009 at the First Baptist Church in Godley. Rev. Wayne McCoy will officiate. Burial will be in Godley Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday from 6-8 p.m.

On February 19, 2009, after a long battle with breast cancer, Karen McKittrick went home.
A totally devoted wife and mother, unconditional friend to all. Karen will be missed by those whose lives were enriched by simply knowing her. Karen maintained her pretty smile through it all.

Karen's family wishes to thank everyone, family and friends, who stood by her and supported her and walked with her through this long illness.

Karen Lea Sawyer was born November 5, 1961 in Cleburne, TX. Karen married her high school sweetheart, Raymond Lee McKittrick on May 17, 1980 in Godley, TX. She is survived by sons, Patrick Lee McKittrick, Amber and Hudson of Ft. Worth, TX, Kris Brett McKittrick of Ft. Worth, TX, Colby Taylor McKittrick of Godley, TX; mother, Kathryn Sawyer of Godley, TX; loving in-laws, Raymond and RaeAnn McKittrick of Cleburne and sisters, Wayne Ann Davis and Sherri Oliver of Godley, TX.
Karen is survived by nieces, nephew, extended family and good friends to numerous too mention.

She was preceded in death by her father, Everett Wayne Sawyer of Godley, TX.

Karen requests memorials be made to the cancer research of your choice.
