Karen Melson

Services for Karen Melson, 59 of Grandview will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, Sept. 30, 2008 in the Friendship Baptist Church. The Reverend Henry McBrayer will officiate. Burial will be in the Itasca Cemetery.
Mrs. Melson passed away Sunday, September 28, 2008 in Ft. Worth. She was born Dec. 31, 1948 in Lubbock, to Olen Otis and Frances Marie Jordan Marr. She married Larry Melson on Jan. 10, 1970 in Itasca. Mrs. Melson was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
Karen Melson is survived by her husband, Larry Melson of Grandview; two sons; Jason Melson and wife Lisa of Roundrock and Justin Melson of Tennessee Colony, TX.; two grandsons, Cody and Keegan; one sister, Nancy Young and husband Hubert of Abilene and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M., Monday.
