Karla Freedman passed away Saturday, December 6, 2014 in Ft. Worth. She was born September 21, 1963 in Waco, Texas to Richard Douglas and Leta Mae Hand Freedman.
Karla worked as a dispatcher for United Cooperative. She was honored to be part of the Co-op family. Anyone who knew Karla knew how grateful she was to have a wonderful work family. Her employment made the last months the best she had in years.
She was a wonderful aunt to her nieces and nephews. She showered them with love and picked on them regularly. Her “kiddos” were her world as she was theirs. They couldn’t wait to see their LaLa. Her love for hunting & country music is passed down to her kiddos. She loved spending her time surrounded by the people she loved and was always willing to help and give.
Karla was of Christian faith. She came to know the Lord in her last days. Her family was blessed to have her.
Survivors include her mother Leta Mae Hand Bolden and step-father Kenneth Bolden, brothers Neal Freedman, Blake Freedman and wife Amy, both of Rio Vista, Kenny Bolden and wife Suzette of Waco; sisters, Karen Gossett and husband, Arm of Cleburne, Kristi Hughes and husband, Jeff of Godley, Ronda Millington of Waco; nieces and nephews, Paige and Landon Gossett, Kulten, Faith, and Jackson Hughes, Candace, Ashley, Annaleigh and Jeremy Bolden; and Brittany and Megan Gossett.
