Katherine Gist

Graveside services for Katherine "Kathy" Ann Gist, 43, of Arlington will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. at Zephyr Cemetery in Brownwood. Pastor Rufus Huckabee will officiate.

Kathy Gist passed away Thursday, August 17, 2006 in Arlington. She was born April 17, 1963 in Michigan to Dale and Beverly Broegman Newport. She married Lanny Dupree Gist on March 22, 1980 in Cleburne.

Mrs. Gist was a sales representative in the office supply industry and was a member of First Baptist Church in Arlington.

Katherine "Kathy" Gist is survived by her husband Lanny Dupree Gist of Arlington; son, Michael Gist and fiance Emily Womach of Waco; mother, Beverly Broadstone of Michigan; sister, June Lachack of Alabama; three nephews and one niece; mother and father-in-law, Shirley and John Gist of Cleburne; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
