Katherine White

Graveside service for Katherine “Kathy” White, 82, of Millsap, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 4, 2023 in Nickell Cemetery. Reverend D.J. Maldonado will officiate. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M., Friday, March 3, 2023 at the funeral home.

Kathy passed away Friday, February 24, 2023 in Millsap. She was born February 27, 1940 in Cleburne. Kathy married “Buddy” Eldon Gray on May 15, 1968 in Fort Worth. They were married for 15 years before his passing in 1978. She then married Don Fielder White on January 18, 1981 in Fort Worth and they were married 41 years before his passing on November 15, 2022. Kathy worked as a Caregiver and retired at the age 67. She was a member of Millsap Baptist Church. She was a feisty lady, full of energy and kept everyone in line. Her home was always a safe place for family and friends to gather. She was extremely family oriented and “mothered” many throughout her life. Fishing and cooking out, especially fish fry gatherings, were some of her favorite times. Kathy was an animal lover, especially of her dogs. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children, Vickie Elkins, Rebecca Trotter, Sheila Dickerson and Randy, Robert Wise, and Darrell Wise; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Billy Robinson, Shirley Robinson, James Robinson, Rusty Robinson and Ronnie Robinson; a number of nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Kathy was preceded in death by her father, Arnold Griffin Robinson and mother, Francis Luicse (Clark) Bernard; husbands, “Buddy” Eldon Gray and Don Fielder White; daughter, Debbie Trotter; and brother, Homer Robinson.
