Kathleen Graig

Memorial services for Kathleen "Kathy" Graig, 68, of Covington, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Friday, November 23, 2012 in the Crosier Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Visitation will be held at the funeral home 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Wednesday.

Ms. Graig passed away on Monday, November 19, 2012 in Dallas. She was born August 7, 1944 in Valdosta, Georgia to Thomas Morgan and Mildred Inez Branch Garrett. Kathy was of the Methodist faith. She retired after over 33 years of teaching both in Fort Worth and Covington ISDs. She enjoyed traveling throughout the states, collecting seashells along the way. It has been said that she was a talented cook and baker. Her fried chicken held the standard for all others to attempt matching. She was a gardener and former member of the Iris and Day Lily Society. She was a photographer of nature and flowers. Kathy's witty character and giving nature will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her children, Jenny Graig, Wendy Rape and husband, Darren, and Chris Graig; sister, Betty Garrett; and a host of other relatives and friends.
