Kathleen Stevens

Mrs. Stevens passed away on Saturday, December 5, 2009 with her family at her side. Kathy was born August 28, 1952 in Charleston, South Carolina. She married Jim Stevens in Charleston, SC on April 21, 1973. Kathy was a member of Eastern Heights Church. She worked as a teacher's assistant with Texas Neighborhood Services, Cleburne Head Start Center for 11 years. She was known for her gifted talent with children. She was a good friend to many, often having the ability to bring the humor and craziness out in them. Kathy's loving nature and compassionate spirit will be missed greatly by all those that knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her father, David Murray and son, James Stevens.

Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Jim Stevens; daughters, Dawn Stevens Louden and Jennifer Stevens; son and daughter in law, Jason and Miriam Stevens; grandchildren, Kylie Louden and Aidan Stevens all of Cleburne; step mother, Eliana Murray of Santiago, Chile; sister, Donna Collinsworth Ruus of Charleston, SC; aunt and uncle, Mae and Melvin Cumbee of Hanahan, SC; several nieces, nephews, and cousins as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
