Graveside services for Katie Mae Reese, 74, of Ft. Worth, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 11, 2007 in the Baker-Lain Cemetery. Reverend Dennis Hester will officiate. Pallbearers will be Joe Applegate, Tony Applegate, Anthony Applegate and David Applegate.
Katie Mae Reese passed away Saturday, September 8, 2007 in Ft. Worth. She was born January 22, 1933 in Carson, California to Joseph Dewey and Flora Mae Ince Applegate.
Mrs. Reese was a retired seamstress and was of the Baptist faith.
Katie Mae Reese is survived by her sons, Dan Davis of Ft. Worth and Dennis Beddingfield of Euless; four brothers, Dewey Applegate of Cleburne, Gene Applegate of Joshua, Johnny Applegate of Arlington and Arthur Applegate of Godley; five grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Raymond Reese in 2004; three sisters, Imogene, Ginger and Ruthie and brother, Bill Applegate.
