Services for Ken Gissiner, 38, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at Cleburne Bible Church with Pastors Don Hunt and Dean Elliott officiating. Burial will follow at Skyvue Memorial Gardens, Mansfield. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Monday at Crosier Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home. Mr. Gissiner passed away Friday, August 27, 2010 after an auto accident in Keene. Ken was born April 12, 1972 in Fort Worth. He married Amber Elese Frazier on August 28, 2005 in Galveston. He was a member of Cleburne Bible Church, where he was active in the youth group and the Service Sunday program. Ken was the owner of Gissiner Electric since January of 2007. It has been said that Ken was a man of high integrity and ethics. He was a giver, often putting others before his own needs. Ken was a devoted husband and father. He was a fun loving man that was always ready for the next adventure. He enjoyed cooking and entertaining, often being the center of attention with his contagious laughter filling the room. He was a big kid at heart, dreamer and inventor. Ken's love of life and generous nature will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him. Ken was preceded in death by his father, Jerry M. Gissiner.
Survivors include his wife, Amber Gissiner; sons, Hayden Garrison, Bryson Gage and Gavin Garrett Gissiner; mother and step father, Rita and George Hanson; step father, David Gryder; brothers, Gerald "Randy" Gissiner and wife, April and Jerry Gissiner; step sisters, Joyce Carney, Rhonda Hanson, Rachel Love, Danielle Hanson; several nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
